At Emerald Health ADHC, we understand the physical and emotional demands for caretakers who provide constant care for a loved one. Our Adult Day Care Center provides caretakers with temporary relief to maintain their strength while taking time for themselves to work or run errands. With our highly skilled nursing services, you can be confident your loved one will receive the same quality of care provided by their family members.
At Emerald Health ADHC, we offer a coordinated program with skilled nursing services from PCA's, CNA’s, RN’s and trained therapist. Services are designed to provide a vibrant social community to adults who need supervised care in a safe place outside the home during the day. Adult patients receive care and monitoring on a regular basis by Licensed professionals.
Our Licensed Nurses have the knowledge and skills needed to maintain quality care in a medical-social setting. In addition to monitoring and treating all aspects of health management for our participants, our nurses administer medication, weight and vital sign monitoring, diabetic care and safety monitoring and supervision. Our clinical professionals provide oversight of care needs and can work collaboratively with the physician and or other health care professionals to maintain quality of care.
There are a number of options for transportation services. Family members are welcome to transport their loved one to the center and or transportation can be coordinated with our Emerald Health vehicle or with a contracted provider in your local area.
Individuals who require supervision during the day due to cognitive, physical, psychological, or social reasons. Comprehensive evaluations are completed on admission to determine the Level of Care required.
Our center requires a standard enrollment fee for all participants admitted to Emerald Health ADHC, except for those on Medical Assistance. A full day of service includes comprehensive care for the elderly and adults with disabilities, which includes nursing supervision, personal care, engaging activities, nutritious meals and snacks.
The private pay fee is based on level of care and other factors. Funding is available through Medicaid, Long-Term Care Insurance, Veteran’s Administration and various other State and county programs and grants.
Participants are required to attend the program at least 2 days per week. Fees are assessed weekly to maintain program placement, while failure to meet minimum attendance requirements will result in discharge.
While we encourage our participants to take part in our recreational programs, they are never obligated to do so. For those participants who prefer less interaction with large groups, we offer one-on-one activities, Brain fitness, or arts and crafts. Individual activity programs are available and designed to stimulate the mind without the pressure of socialization.
